White Pocket

It is in the AZ Strip and my 3rd trip. This time, I explored the south and southeast parts. For other parts see: http://tinyurl.com/phvylon and http://tinyurl.com/q2cllee
IMG 2040-HDR(3) The view west from House Rock Road as we proceed south to the road into White Pocket IMG 2043-HDR(3) That road is about 10 miles of sand - recommended only for 4WD and high clearance vehicles. IMG 2046-HDR(3) I developed a slow leak in the LR tire. Here we're pumping it up. IMG 2049-HDR(3) In addition to our 6 vehicles there are a few others in the parking lot.
IMG 2055-HDR(3) Just sit back and enjoy as I explore the s and sw parts of this unique area. IMG 2058-HDR(3) Lots of "brain rock." IMG 2064-HDR(3) IMG 2076-HDR(3)

P1030984-HDR On the drive back out we stopped for a small herd of horses along and on House Rock Road. A Suzanne picture IMG 2247-HDR This was not a wild herd - they had been shod. IMG 2217-HDR
